It’s a little difficult to blog post Hurricane Harvey 2017. I’m grateful and blessed, but on another note I’m mad. One word that stays on my mind is tenacity.

Tenacity: the quality or fact of continuing to exist or to be determined. I made it back to work today, Saddened but determined to push my hurt aside to have empathy for others. Thinking less about myself and praying to be more concerned about helping someone else. It’s hard and I know it’s a distraction from the enemy, but I know where my help comes from. #author #blogger #poet #thepoetryjournal
