“Believing in Magic” is an Amazing Memoir of Cookie Johnson’s new book. Her choice to exemplify her love for NBA Legendary Earvin “Magic” Johnson.
It was well written with Denene Millner as Cookie talks about love, overcoming adversity and keeping the faith.
Cookie Johnson’s transparency in this book was well worth the read and the wait since her husband announced he was HIV positive 25 years ago. Her belief in the love for her husband and her children was exceptionally unconditional. How she endured all of what she went through, not everyone is made for that kind of love. Some experts may call it abuse, but if she chose him and she prayed for him, at the end of the day, they are still together celebrating 25 years of marriage.
However, there is an issue that needs to be addressed with men and their infidelity and their unwillingness to fully commit to one woman.
Some experts say don’t settle for men who cheat on you. There’s a thin line between love and hate and you should know the difference.
Looks like that kind of love is for the major leagues. I’m not trying to be judgmental, this is just my own personal feelings. Even I want to release a novel about my experience in life, my love and my relationships.
Be careful not to compare your love with anyone else’s lifestyle. Walk in your own destiny with God’s guidance and wisdom. Just do right by the one you love.
Congratulations Mrs. Johnson, you’re one tough Cookie. đź’ť
